Review

From the Playlist book:

If you're not a fan of sticking things way down in your ear canals (meaning: canalphones), your only real choice for travel listening is a set of noise-canceling headphones, which sample outside sound and then pipe in an inverse audio signal to "cancel out" a good amount of monotonous noise, such as airplane engines and train rumblings. Although Bose may be the most well known name in this market, we like the PXC 300, which offer slightly better sound quality than Bose's popular Quiet Comfort II for a lot mess money. The PXC 300 aren't quite as comfortable as the plus QCII, but they're still easy to wear for hours at a time. And when folded up in the included hard travel case, the PXC 300 take up less than half the space in your bag.
